Lenovo laptops top ranked by Laptop Magazine

In a recent article by Laptop Magazine, Lenovo laptops are the top ranked PC laptop again! Here’s a few comments from their article: “There’s no disputing that Lenovo offers the best keyboards and touchpads in the business.” That’s something that we’ve known about for a long time and the latest generation Edge series feature an entirely new keyboard design that still retains the feel of the classic ThinkPad keyboard.

At Botnay Bay Technology, we focus mostly on the Lenovo business laptops (even if you need one for home/consumer use). Laptop Magazine had this to say about the business laptops: “The business notebooks are stellar…”. Also Lenovo was tied for first with Apple for customer satisfaction.

Botnay Bay Technology establishes after hours help line.

Botnay Bay Technology is pleased to announce the establishment of an after hours help line. Several of our business clients have requested a means of obtaining emergency service outside of normal business hours and this new service addresses that need. This help line uses the new Google Voice service. We have placed a call widget on our web site that allows a customer to contact the on-call staff member outside of normal business hours. By simply clicking on the “Call Me” button, Google voice will initiate a free phone call which is automatically forwarded to a member of our staff.

Intel ranked in the top 5 of “greenest” companies.

As a technology company, Botnay Bay Technology is proud to be an Intel partner as we feel that they are one of the leading companies in the technology space. We continue to build custom computers using Intel components including motherboards and CPU’s and the quality of their products continue to impress us (and we’re not impressed easily!).

Beyond the products that they manufacture, there are many other reasons to admire Intel as a company. One article that caught our eye was this one that ranked Intel highly for their green practices (scroll to # 5 to see the info on Intel’s practices). Nice to see that Intel has embraced the movement to greener practices in a very visible way!
